Beyond the anchor desk —
the causes and people that keep me grounded.
A Deep Commitment to Community
Throughout the past two decades, I’ve been proud to support events that have raised millions of dollars for vital causes. From hosting galas and running races to climbing stairs and even singing and dancing — I’m committed to showing up for the communities I serve.
I’ve partnered with organizations including the American Lung Association, Blood Cancer United, the American Cancer Society, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, among many others. If you’re looking for an experienced, engaging host for your next event, I’d love to connect.

A Global Perspective Grounded in Lifelong Learning
Exploring the world is one of my greatest passions. I’ve been fortunate to travel to some amazing destinations with my husband, Kyle. We live in Minneapolis and are proud “dog dads” to our corgis, Fischer and Finlee. I’m a dual United States and Canadian citizen who is always looking ahead to the next adventure.
I believe travel has made me a stronger journalist. Experiencing different cultures and perspectives sharpens my curiosity, deepens my empathy, and helps me tell more thoughtful, inclusive stories. It’s a reminder that every story is human at its core—and that understanding people is the key to connecting with any audience.
